This year the Association for Biology Laboratory Education (ABLE) held their 37th annual conference at Boston University. The focus of ABLE is to improve the undergraduate biology laboratory experience by promoting the development and dissemination of interesting, innovative, and reliable laboratory exercises between science teachers and industry thought leaders.  Hands-on labs, presentations and mini-workshops provide science teachers with the type of learning their students will experience so that they can easily incorporate the experience into their biology class curriculum.  Ultimately, ABLE activities are designed for students to “learn science by doing science.”1

For us, it is no different, we go to ABLE to speak with teachers and learn about their student and classroom needs.  We also provide hands-on mini-workshops and demonstrations of our classroom gel electrophoresis system, the MiniOne.

Based on our experience and the countless Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts we saw, ABLE 2015 was a success for all who attended.

Hope to see you at ABLE 2016!
