Like all MiniOne equipment, the Germinator is designed specifically for the classroom, and puts students in direct contact with the earliest stages of plant development. Set up the seedlings on the Germination Sheets, place them in the Petri dishes and stack the Petri dishes into the Germination Station Tray, which holds up to twenty 60mm petri dishes and ensures each dish receives ample lighting and moisture for optimal growth.
This is where plant-based learning begins and students take ownership of the process from Day 1, monitoring germination and scoring visible phenotypes.
